Getting started with engine build

It look a couple months longer than expected but last week I finally got the engine block back from the machine shop. There was a miscommunication or something that happened and the block did not get tumble cleaned as requested. However, I am moving on with the build because spring is right around the corner and I want this thing on the road as soon as possible. This post isn't much more than the above with some pictures from my fun breaking out the DSLR again. Enjoy and stay tuned.
